How can I be sure about the quality before committing to a full project?
Before taking on a full project, I offer to start small — a trial screen or part of the interface. You'll see my approach, the logic behind decisions, and how deeply I understand your product. The best way to be sure — is to try."
Can you guarantee deadlines are met?
Deadlines are met when they're agreed upon — not set unilaterally. Before starting I always discuss the real scope and only then commit to a timeline. It's important to understand — revisions affect deadlines, and I'm upfront about that from the start. My principle: better to agree on a realistic deadline than to promise the impossible.
Can you take on urgent tasks?
Urgent tasks are only for long-term clients — this is a deliberate practice. We discuss in advance what can realistically be delivered within a tight deadline and agree on the outcome. If you're a new client — we'll start by building the right process, and that option will become available over time.
Is there a project type you don't take on?
Mostly startups, founders, and product teams. I’ve also worked with scaleups and VC-backed companies across a range of industries.
Can the project cost increase during our collaboration?
The cost can only change in two cases: with a fixed price — if the scope exceeds the initial estimate, with hourly billing — if my responsibilities go beyond what we originally agreed on. In both cases it's always an open conversation, never a surprise. With long-term clients the rate typically stays stable — because the process is established and the scope is clear.
What if the designer disappears mid-project?
I see every project through to the end — until both sides are fully satisfied. Always available, including evenings and weekends. The only time I don't respond is when I'm asleep. No project is ever left unfinished — and that's not just words, it's confirmed by clients I've been working with for years.
Can I get a refund if the work doesn't meet my expectations?
If the work isn't delivered due to my fault — I'll return the full amount. With a fixed price — full project refund. With hourly billing — refund for the specific milestone that didn't work out. Important to understand: we always work in stages with approval at each step. An approved milestone is completed work — and is non-refundable.
How technically sound will the design be?
When you work with me — you work with a senior who understands the technical side of the product from the inside. You don't need to worry about layers, components, and technical details — that's my responsibility. I become not just your designer, but your advisor who recommends the most technically correct solutions — based on 9 years of real experience.
What does the work process look like?
The process is built around your task — not the other way around. If something is missing for a proper start I'll suggest how to fix it to avoid mistakes down the line. Every iteration is approved, questions are clarified before and during the work. The process is flexible — we adapt to you.
How does communication work?
All communication and payments are handled within Upwork — this protects both sides and eliminates disputes. After payment, following Upwork's guidelines, we can move to any convenient channel for day-to-day communication.
How many revisions are included?
Revisions are a normal part of the process, not a problem. With hourly billing revisions depend on the clarity of the task. With a fixed price revisions are done within the agreed scope — if we go beyond it I'll let you know upfront. The main point: you focus on the result, not on counting revisions.
